Join us at the 16th International Grouse Symposium, hosted by the University of Inland Norway in 2026!

In collaboration with the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research, we are excited to welcome leading researchers, conservationists, and enthusiasts from around the world.

The symposium will run from lunch on Monday, August 31, to lunch on Friday, September 4. The program will feature a diverse range of presentations on grouse research and management from different parts of the world. Wednesday will be dedicated to Nordic perspectives, with engaging speakers from Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland. On Thursday, all participants are invited to join a joint field excursion, followed by a banquet dinner at the hotel. There will also be an opportunity to choose between two different post-conference field excursions over the following weekend
